Thank you for the update, Sdrum. It seems to be an old issue with the Norton Security Suite. For more information, you may want to check the post of Bill Smithers from this old thread. You can also try to disable it by doing these steps: Open NIS interface, Settings, Network, Message Protection and slide the slider to off beside AntiSpam, Click Apply and OK.

Feel free to get back to us should you need further assistance.

The repeating group of fields is described as a descendent segment in the Master File, and the OCCURS attribute for that segment specifies how to determine the number of repetitions. The number of repetitions does not have to be the same for every record instance. An ASK field fires a prompt when the field is specifically instructed to update. Like the FILLIN field, this unfortunately occurs when you print. Unlike a FILLIN fields, ASK fields do not automatically fire the prompt when a new document is created or when an existing document is opened. In addition to firing a prompt, the ASK field sets a bookmark. What When Filemaker exports or imports repeating field data, it uses a special hidden character to separate the repeating items. The character is ASCII-29, but you can't just type that in like you can other characters. On a Mac or PC, the key is ctr+ (hold down control and the right square bracket).

If it's something that old, why would it surface just in the last week or so?

What does turning the slider to OFF do?

Since my last Windows Feature update Windows Security has started throwing up this dialog box. What is it and what am I supposed to do about it?

Moved from: Windows / Windows 10 / Performance & system failures

Have you tried to login to Norton within the Norton Security Suite?

Window hook

I have this 'problem' too.

It seems that the Windows-update cleared some info so that Norton is unable to check the license we own. After the 'sign in' in Norton, the 'problem' disappeared.

Good luck

Doesn't matter if you enter a password, I did that the first couple of times once I verified it was authentic. It will only start popping up again. It's SUPER annoying! And it will pop up here whenever my PC goes into saver or sleep mode.

Can't take it anymore. I'm removing one thing or the other TODAY. I've always used Norton on my PCs. Nothing new just starts popping up. So it has to be due to MSW.

I hope one of the fixes here will work .. so frustrating.
