Be respectful and courteous of everyone. No being disrespectful to the competition. It's great to discuss strengths and weaknesses of all VTTs but we're not here to put anyone else down.Fantasy Grounds is a trademark of SmiteWorks. So im getting into the virtual scene with tabletops and watched a comparison video on FG and roll20. FG is what caught my eye and ive been messing around with. The video was from 2015 and the maker references something called Fantasy Grounds 3 or FG-X (whatever they decide to call it) thats being built with the unity engine. He mentions this when talking about Fantasy Grounds not having dynamic lightning/line of sight, FG only had fog of war.Is this new Fantasy Grounds out or did they ever add in dynamic lightning/line of sight?. There a video where Nerdarchy interviews Doug Davison from Fantasy Grounds.

They are trying to make it so the transition is not to jarring for users of either version. They are in a tough position, where they want to give new stuff to current users, they are working on a new version, and have to add new content, like campaigns and modules.I believe that Smiteworks is trying hard to get the Unity version out next year, but they don't want give a deadline then say that they have to push it back. Here is the link to the video.
